Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of chicken (thighs or legs with fur)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or spray
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (sweet or smoked paprika)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour or cornstarch for extra crispiness
Instructions 1. Prep the chicken: Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces with paper towels to remove excess moisture. 2. Season: In a bowl, mix together salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Optionally, add the 2 tablespoons of flour or cornstarch for extra crispiness. Lightly brush each piece of chicken with olive oil and coat completely with the spice mix. 3. Preheat the Airfryer: Set the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes. 4. Cook: Place the chicken pieces in the Airfryer basket skin side down, making sure they are not touching. Cook for 15 minutes at 180°C. Turn the chicken pieces over, increase the temperature to 200°C (400°F) and cook for 10-12 minutes more until the skin is golden and crispy. 5. Review: Make sure the chicken is cooked through. The internal temperature should be 75°C (165°F). If you want more crispiness, you can add 2 more minutes. Serve: Serve the crispy chicken with a fresh salad, mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables. Ready! Enjoy golden, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside chicken made in Airfryer!
