Ingredients
- 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup warm water (about 110°F / 43°C)
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt (room temperature)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter, plus extra for cooking
- Optional: minced garlic, chopped cilantro, or nigella seeds for topping

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. -
