- 1 lb chicken breasts (boneless, skinless, cut into ½-inch strips)

Once the oil is hot and the chicken is done chilling, fry the pieces in batches so that you do not overcrowd the pot. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes, or until they are golden in color and the internal temperature reads 165°F (74°C).
